Terms of Use

    Effective date: March 2025

    Acceptance of Terms

By using ConcreteCalc, you agree to these terms of use. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

    Estimates Only

All calculations, guides, scenarios, and content on ConcreteCalc are provided for informational and estimation purposes only. They do not constitute professional engineering, architectural, or construction advice. Actual concrete quantities, costs, and requirements may differ from our estimates due to site conditions, material variations, and other factors.

    No Professional Advice

ConcreteCalc does not provide professional services of any kind. We do not offer personalised project planning, structural analysis, or construction consulting. For load-bearing structures, structural work, or any project requiring permits, always consult a licensed structural engineer and comply with local building codes.

    Use at Own Risk

You use ConcreteCalc and its content entirely at your own risk. We make no warranties, express or implied, about the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any calculation or content. We accept no liability for any loss, damage, or expense arising from the use of this site.

    Pricing Estimates

Any pricing figures shown are regional estimates based on publicly available data at the time of writing. Concrete prices vary significantly by location, supplier, mix design, quantity, and market conditions. Always obtain quotes from local suppliers before making purchasing decisions.

    Calculator Functionality & Limitations

ConcreteCalc uses standard volume calculation formulas (e.g., length × width × depth for rectangular slabs, π × radius² × depth for cylinders) to estimate material requirements. Inputs are accepted in both imperial (feet, inches, yards) and metric (metres, centimetres) units, with automatic conversion where applicable. However, the calculator assumes ideal conditions: uniform thickness, no waste, and perfectly shaped volumes. Real-world projects often require adding 5–10% extra for waste, uneven bases, or spillage — especially for small or complex pours. Users should always verify dimensions on-site and adjust inputs accordingly. The tool does not account for reinforcement (rebar, mesh), formwork requirements, or special mix specifications (e.g., high-strength or rapid-setting concrete).

    Privacy & Data Handling

ConcreteCalc does not collect personal information unless you voluntarily submit it (e.g., via contact forms). We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to improve site performance, analyse usage patterns, and personalise content — including your browser type, IP address, and pages visited. This data is aggregated and anonymised to protect your identity. We do not sell or share personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Third-party services (e.g., analytics or ad networks) may collect usage data as described in our Privacy Policy. You can manage cookie preferences via your browser settings or our cookie consent banner. If you use the calculator without logging in, no user-specific data is stored beyond your current session. For any data-related requests (e.g., access, deletion), please contact us using the details provided in the footer.

    External Links & Third-Party Content

ConcreteCalc may include links to external websites or resources (e.g., supplier directories, building code portals, or material guides). These are provided for convenience only and do not imply endorsement. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or availability of third-party sites. Accessing or using such sites is at your own risk. Similarly, any calculators, guides, or tools hosted on partner sites via embedded widgets or APIs are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We recommend reviewing those policies before interacting with external content. If you believe a linked resource is inaccurate or harmful, please report it via our contact page.
